f.Light Photography

Yesterday I went out to shoot some photos after the rain, and here’s what I came back with. It was actually quite inspiring, and I think these kind of outings are always great to expand my horizon and just get into the rhythm of taking photos as much as I can. I’m learning so much just by doing, and I think that’s probably the best thing a photographer can do…go out and do it. Reminds me of Nike’s slogan “Just do it!” I think if we ever want to achieve anything, we need to go out and do something and not wait for it to happen to us.

Leonardo da Vinci said it well: “I have been impressed with the urgency of doing. Knowing is not enough; we must apply. Being willing is not enough; we must do.” (thanks to a friend on DeviantArt for posting this quote).

I have never seen the movie where this line is supposed to come from, but I think it expresses my sentiment exactly. A fresh blog, a fresh start to record my journey into photography and the things that I discover along the way. A beautiful friendship between photography, myself, the blog and you, the readers.

I will post photos and inspirations and am always willing and ready to read your comments and learn from your feedback.

The sun is shining, maybe a good time to go out and snap a few photos after the rain. :)
